Smith Receives Funding

Smith Memorial Playground and Playhouse has been awarded $82,500 from the William Penn Foundation for master planning. The planning, key to the restoration of Smith's Playground, Playhouse and historic landscape, will provide a roadmap for maintaining Smith's treasured status in the community, addressing its immediate needs and providing a long range plan for its future.

In addition, Smith has received a $20,000 New Director's Grant from the Samual W. Fels Fund and $3,500 from the Philadelphia Activities Fund.
